Day 9 and I’m doing just fine :)

Wow. Another full on day. I had to prepare all of the snack and lunch boxes early this morning as I was heading out to a presentation. Food was being provided at the presentation but unfortunately, it wasn’t sugar free so I had to go prepared. Thank goodness for ice blocks.

I learnt a few things about myself today. Apparently I over analyse ¬†everything which means I get nothing done! I fall right into my lawyer persona….oh no. Need to recognize that when it’s happening and address it!

Here’s my day’s food

Lemon water on waking

Breakfast – protein pancake – 4 eggs beaten with a tablespoon of almond meal and a handful of blueberries fried in coconut oil

Snack – a slice of my awesome sugar free fruit and nut bread

Lunch – a salad of kale, carrot and red cabbage with a whole avocado, sesame seeds and a spicy dressing

Snack – a banana with a tablespoon of peanut butter

Dinner – roast chicken, roast butternut squash, plantain and greens (and a small handful of raw cacao chips)

Drinks – loads of water, herbal tea and 2 black coffees

I managed a workout of rowing, heavy front squats, 60 thrusters and 60 burpees. Still feeling awake although I’m going to try to get to bed before midnight tonight. I have Crossfit in the morning!
