Fat bombs and a workout to make you puke!

Today was the first time in a long time that I’ve wanted to chuck my guts after a workout. I was just finishing up and I got that feeling. I’m sure I turned green but I’m not sure that at my age I should be doing a workout consisting of back to back, 1000m row, 30 front squats with 80lbs, 20 pull ups, 30 burpees over a bar, 20 pull ups, 30 front squats with 80lbs, 20 pull ups and a 1000m row. Thanks Tarasa!

I then, after the bile settled, did 25 minutes of fat burning walking up hill on the treadmill. I find this bit boring so I always arm myself with a TED talk. I watched “how to put the awe back in awesome” today. I couldn’t stop laughing! It’s a. Just to watch. See. Remember that wheels are awesome!!

Anyway, I’ve lost that first 1 1/2lbs. Woo hoo. Let’s see what happens from here on.

Food for today:

Lemon water on waking

Breakfast – 3 egg whites and 2 yolks (scrambled) with spinach and 2 rashers of bacon. I also had a grapefruit and a slice of pineapple.

Snack – 2 fat bombs

Post gym protein shake

Dinner – paleo lasagna with a huge green salad

I was naughty and ate one of the spelt flour rolls I baked! Hey. I never said I was perfect!

If you fancy making my fat bombs (I fancied white chocolate. I always loved Milky Bars as a kid), here’s how to do it:

You’ll need

1 cup of coconut butter
1 tablespoon of coconut oil
1/2 cup of crushed macademia nuts
1/2 cup of shredded coconut.

Melt together the coconut butter and the coconut oil. Add the coconut and crushed nuts and mix well. Spoon into mini cupcake cases. Put in the fridge to harden and then eat. Don’t eat too many. They are pure fat but pure dead delicious! They got me through that killer workout today too.
